About

N4L’s Remote Access service enables teachers and staff to work just like they’re at school, even when they’re at home or out of town. The solution creates a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection between the user device and the N4L Managed Router at the school, enabling staff to access resources as if they were on-site. Staff need to install an app on their device, or program on their laptop, and they can connect with their login credentials. Remote Access is a fully-funded service provided by N4L - Schools do not have to pay to use this service. Please note: If, during implementation, you require assistance from your ICT Provider, this cost must be covered by the school..

Considerations

Remote Access cannot be configured if there is a NAT device between the School Network and the N4L Managed Router.

Requirements

Get in touch with the Helpdesk on 0800 LEARNING or support@n4l.co.nz and let us know that you want to implement Remote Access for your school.
