What is the CU Anschutz network?

CU Anschutz is a higher-security network that only students, faculty, and staff have access to. To connect, select the CU Anschutz network and, when prompted, enter your university credentials (the same ones you use to log into Canvas and UCD Access).

CU Anschutz Medical Campus VPN portal is: amc-vpn.ucdenver.edu Remote Desktop and Applications You can access university resources, including your regular work desktop, shared internal files, and folders by using the full downloadable VMware Horizon Client or the Horizon web client through your preferred browser.

What is CU Anschutz?

Computer Labs: The CU Anschutz classroom computer support team provides computer hardware, software and technical expertise required for student courses and computer training labs, as well as computer support for departmental events and the fulfillment of their respective missions. This includes the installation of specific software for courses, webinars, and other programmatic needs. Locations include Education II North, Education I and Research I North. What is VPN access?

VPN and Remote Access: Allows access to a secure a network connection and university resources (network drives, etc.) from off-campus or while connected to the secure CU Denver | Anschutz wireless network.

What is the writing center at CUAnschutz?

The Writing Center at CUAnschutz Medical Campus is a free resource available to all university students who wish to improve as writers. Services include in-person and online one-on-one appointments. Professional Writing Consultants will work on any type of writing and any aspect of the writing process, including (but not limited to) idea-generation, research, organization, thesis development, source usage and grammar.

CU Anschutz uses Office 365 for email and all Office applications. To access your email on the web, see OIT's page on email and webmail . Once logged into Outlook Webmail, you can also access browser-based versions of all common Microsoft Office tools, like Word and Excel, by clicking the 'waffle' icon at the top left.
