What is Cisco AnyConnect?

A VPN client application, Cisco AnyConnect, is installed on most URMC computers. We no longer provide this application for personal computers, smartphones or tablets – please use the clientless VPN service to connect from a non-URMC computer for access to applications like MSS and the URMC Intranet.

Does URMC require two factor authentication?

Access to URMC VPN, systems and applications requires a URMC account and Duo two-factor authentication. To enroll in Duo, you must be connected to the URMC network and follow the instructions for the method you will use to verify yourself.

Can I use URMC on non-URMC computers?

Use with permission to access URMC applications and network services from non-URMC computers and tablets. (Read the VDI Quick Start Guide for setup instructions.)

Can you use Outlook on ARNet?

You are logging into a virtual version of your ARNet desktop. More information: You can use Outlook on this virtual desktop. Please wait about 5 minutes after you log into the server before clicking it, or it will fail. Do not save any files on this desktop, as they will get deleted.

Does USAR RAP keep your ARNet active?

Note: Accessing the USAR RAP will keep your ARNet account active between Battle Assemblies (BA). You do need to [already] have an ARNet account before attempting to access. If you don't have an ARNet account, Army Reserve Soldiers can request one via: https://aramp.usar.army.mil (You need to have your AKO username and password ready).
