The Wi-Fi Smart Lock has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities that allow you to access your lock remotely. Previous generations of August Smart Locks require a Wi-Fi bridge, such as Connect or Doorbell Cam, to connect remotely. Steps to connect to your lock remotely are specified by lock type below.
