The Avi-on Remote Access Bridge (RAB) creates a secure connection to the Avi-on Pro Bluetooth Lighting Controls system and enables the security of always knowing what lights are on or off. The RAB may also be used for remotely updating schedules and other system parameters, and it keeps the timers in the Avi-on system synchronized with global clocks.
How does a rab connect to a hotspot?

What happens if my RAB doesn't have a strong connection?
If your RAB does not have a strong connection with BOTH the bluetooth switch AND the router, it will not set up. Or, it may set up, but then not have a stable connection to the cloud.
What is a rab on a phone?
The RAB acts as a node on the network. What this means is that you must connect to it through another Avi-on device when using your mobile phone to set up the wifi.
