How do I access the Barry Memorial Library's databases?
The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library subscribes to nearly 150 electronic databases. Most of our databases are available over the Internet from within Barry. Online access to these databases is possible from any networked computer on the main campus or from any off-campus patron who uses remote Access.

Access to university resources is changing. On June 22, 2015 the Go.Barry Launchpad will allow all students, faculty, and staff to access university resources, websites, services, and storage in a new, clean, easy-to-follow web interface.
Where can I find full text of Barry dissertations?
Barry Dissertations - Full text to Barry dissertations published after 1996. Biological & Agricultural Index Plus (EBSCO) - Provides full text of articles from over 100 journals dating as far back as 1997, as well as indexing and abstracts of more than 380 publications dating back to 1983.
What is policy map?
PolicyMap - A US-National web-based Geographic Information System used to understand communities. With easy-to-use menus, PolicyMap is a “GIS tool for non-GIS experts” for those who need to visualize large amounts of data quickly and easily, often down to the census tract or block group level. It is used in the social sciences, urban studies and regional planning, real estate and housing analysis, community and economic development, public administration and policy, public health, political science, education, environmental studies, business and finance, economics, statistics and geography, among other areas. In addition, students and faculty can easily upload and incorporate their data into and leverage it against the thousands of indicators already available in PolicyMap.

Academic OneFile - Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Includes full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995. Updated daily.
What is Cabell's Directory?
Cabell’s Publishing Directory - Professors and graduate students in all fields of in fields of business, education, health services administration, health sciences and psychology frequently use Cabells Directory to assist them in publishing their manuscripts. Also, administrators and accrediting committees use them to evaluate publication records. Reviewers use the Directory for the large number of journals in each Directory and the useful information included for each journal.

Law Library Spring 2021
The library is open with limited capacity for the Fall 2020. In order to comply with physical distancing requirements, we recommend advance reservations to use the Library. Library users without advance reservations will check in and choose a location in compliance with distancing requirements. Reserve a seat.

Virtual Applications
Barry's cloud environment allows remote access to internal online resources and software found on PC’s in the computers labs.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Barry University’s Virtual Private Network allows you to connect to the university from off-campus, providing access to internal network resources, such as Colleague, network printers and department shared drives.

The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library is located in the center of the beautiful Miami Shores campus of Barry University. The Library is named in loving memory of Monsignor William Barry, one of the founders of Barry University and an inspirational figure in the Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Miami.
Interlibrary Loan Services
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) provides current Barry University Faculty, Staff, and Students access to resources which are not available at the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library. The ILL office is located on the 4th floor of the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library, room LIB 423.
