Is Bechtel receiving fraudulent invoices?
Bechtel has been informed about companies receiving fraudulent invoices, purchase orders, credit applications and banking instructions. These fraudulent communications are sent from individuals impersonating Bechtel and are sent from illegitimate email addresses and phone numbers to customers, contractors, and vendors.
Does Bechtel have a bidder list?
It also provides the names of project contacts. It does not automatically place you on a potential bidders list. Bechtel does not maintain a company wide “formal” approved bidder list. Bidders are pre-qualified independently for each project based on project-specific requirements.
