Ahh okay. It's just that using the BiglyBT options menu there are sooooooo many options. Altering them through a config file would be nigh-on impossible for me to do. I guess it was too much to hope for that the GUI could simply switch which daemon it was talking to.

Actually you can connect BiglyBTs together using the View->BiglyBT Remote panel although features are limited! Could be improved a little but obviously nothing like a full UI

How do you currently access your remote BiglyBT? Are you running it headless with the console UI? If you have remote-desktop style access then aren't some of those things you want to configure one-off things rather than stuff you'd be regularly tweaking?

Did you try the View->BiglyBT Web Remote on your local machine and connect using that to the remote one? I know the commands there are currently limited ('status', 'torrents', 'close', 'restart', 'update-check', 'update-apply' ) but that could be extended.

I'm getting an error on the TV I want to control remotely during pairing, saying: " Error Connecting Not Authorized. It's possible that the remote client is in View-Only mode."

Android 9 has some changes to DNS access, so if you were trying to connect via a DNS name instead of an ip address, there's a chance I have a bug there.

Good news! I found the issue and it's related to Android 9 (Pie). Bad news is there is no workaround (other than using webui) you can do in the current BiglyBT version. I'll be releasing a fix to Google Play later today, although it takes up to 6 hours after that before everyone gets the update, so be patient.

The installers from a week ago missed migrating the %appdata%\Azureus\plugins\rssfeed\rssfeed.options files, but the latest installers should have gotten that one. Can you check the %appdata%\Azureus\plugins\rssfeed\ to see if there's any other config-looking files there (like a .config or a .dat). Maybe we are still missing one to migrate.

Interesting! I had installed the app yesterday, using the most recent installer from the website. This was on Mac OS. I believe Vuze was set-up for multi-user support on my computer, so instead of being where you mentioned above, the config files are all stored in /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Vuze/plugins/rssfeed
This may be common knowledge, but when using Chromecast to the Shield, the Shield remote works to play, pause and rewind and fast forward
I found this by accident as I usually don't cast to the TV, and grabbed the remote out of habit to pause something, and it worked!
