Hi fasterboatma, Your computer stats are gone, the computer was reset when battery was disconnected, your radio is in theft mode, the radio is waiting on a code to be entered. The reason it does this is so if the radio was stolen it cant be used without the code.

I had the same problem last fall and had my mechanic check all fuses, he could not find the problem. Later my son was in the glove box and then I remembered the valet button disables the trunk and gas door so the person parking your car cannot snoop in your trunk or get to your gas cap.

open the glove box and push the valet button, then try the trunk release,,,good luck.... Mac..........
