Can XenApp access Box?
To allow XenApp to access your files in Box, Google Drive, or OneDrive, please link your accounts to Kumo.
Can you use Kumo with XenApp?
If you will be using XenApp and will be accessing files or folders that were shared from other students and staff, we would recommend using Box, as shared Box files and folders will show show up in XenApp through Kumo, while files and folders shared in Google Drive or OneDrive will not. If you are not going to use any shared files, all 3 options will work and show up in XenApp via Kumo.

What is CAE in engineering?
Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) is a College of Engineering facility available to any student with an engineering major or enrolled in an engineering course, as well as faculty and staff of the College. CAE provides users access to facilities and resources which allows them to effectively compute on the engineering campus.
How to contact CAE in person?

How long do you have to have a CAE account to activate?
Before you can activate your account, you must have had your University picture ID for about a week in order to be in the system.

Do all users have to be in compliance with CAE policies?
Note: All users must be in compliance with all CAE Policies while using CAE facilities or resources.
How much file space does CAE offer?
In addition, CAE offers College of Engineering undergraduates 25GB of filespace that is automatically tied to the CAE lab computers as well as XenApp (see below for more information on XenApp). Where is the CAE Help Desk located?
The CAE Help Desk is located in room 116 in 1410 Engineering Dr. Our building is located on the corner of Randall and Campus Dr., across from Engineering Hall. Note that the help desk is staffed by students, and there may be gaps where no one is immediately available. What is XenApp software?
XenApp ( https://remote.engr.wisc.edu) is a software service that enables remote access to CAE software that is licensed for remote use. There is no need to install the software package on your computer or use special connection methods like VPN. You can find more information here: https://kb.wisc.edu/cae/28565
What is campus software library?
The Campus Software Library is a service run by DoIT, but there are some engineering specific software titles that are available to students in the CoE. Here you will find productivity software as well as Windows OS and more. Learn more about the CSL here: https://it.wisc.edu/services/software/
Can you install software on a CAE lab computer?
Software on CAE lab computers are there by request from instructors and departments. Students cannot install software on CAE lab computers. However, many titles can be downloaded onto your laptop. The CAE Software page has information about software, and where to find it (Windows, Linux, XenApp, or personal installation).
Does CAE have a computer lab?

Does CAE have a scanner?
