What is our high security remote access solution?
Our high security remote access solution is a ‘2-factor authentication’ system that offers an additional level of protection over and above a standard password approach. After entering a password, users are prompted to enter a code that appears on their secure token (key fob or mobile device), similar to systems used to access online banking.
What is a remote access management system?
A cost-effective solution that allows staff, students, parents and governors to remotely access non-sensitive resources. Ideal for controlling access when 2-factor authentication is not required.
What is the CMAT remote desktop solution?
The CMAT Remote Desktop Solution allows you to log in to a remote session which is just like you are logged in at school; you can access all the resources that are normally only available in school including Centrally Hosted systems and shared network drives. To access this system, please follow the following instructions.
Support during normal business hours
The IT Service Desk operates Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 6pm and from 7:30am to 4.30pm on the last working day of the week (excluding statutory holidays). Calls can be logged via Let’s Go Direct or by phoning 0300 126 7333 option 1.
IT support outside business hours
Calls made to the IT Service Desk outside normal service hours will be redirected to a voice mail service and you will be asked to leave a message. You will also need to give your user name, user ID and contact details.
Essential IT maintenance
Please note: IT regularly carries out essential system maintenance during scheduled Sunday service breaks. This work will lead to periods of system down time although we will ensure this is communicated beforehand and the impact is minimised.
