VPN, or Virtual Private Network, provides a way of joining the CEU Network from off-campus, allowing you to access nearly all Library electronic resources as if you were on campus.
What is the purpose of the CEU VPN?
Basically at CEU, its primary purpose is to extend the CEU network to your private computer and provide access to various university resources when you are off campus (thus, it only works from outside the CEU network - on campus these resources are available without VPN).

Can alumni access VPN?
Alumni can also request access to VPN via the Alumni Office, however, in that case you will have to renew access yearly. NOTE: Office 365 services (Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, Office apps) are directly available online without a VPN connection.
Remote Access
A remote access account with either Athens or LibLynx allows you to access library resources with a single username and password while at home or on travel without VPN. We are transitioning from Athens to LibLynx, so Athens will eventually go away.

Continuing Education Included in TMS
MEDCOM clinical online courses are available on the TMS. EES awarded MEDCOM a multi-year contract for web-based health care education and training continuing education content. 1000+ courses from the MEDCOM catalog are available to VHA staff on the TMS.
