How do I remote access to chemical engineering computers on campus?

Remote access from off campus through the UW campus firewall to Chemical Engineering computers on campus is provided by the campus VPN service.

How do I connect to a remote computer on campus?

Once your remote computer is connected to the UW VPN server you can use your Remote Desktop Connection client to connect to any computer on campus provided you have been granted remote desktop access permissions to that computer. These computers include your office computer, departmental Remote Desktop servers , and research servers.

Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah

Our undergraduate program takes pride in providing a curriculum that prepares students for jobs in industry and for post-graduate training in engineering, law, and medicine. The curriculum is unique in that it strives to balance practice, theory, and the development of professional skills.

How many seats are there in Academic Surge 1044?

With additional licensing and hardware, we are now able to offer 30 seats on a 24-hour basis, in addition to the seats reserved for class times in the labs. As before, all lab seats will be available remotely when the labs are not in session (after 8PM weekday evenings and weekends), but you will be able to use the labs anytime through this new program.
