To help students in the College of Health and Human Sciences access specialized software required for completing their coursework while university classes are virtual, the college has enabled remote access to several college computer labs.

How to connect to Citrix?
Connecting Through a Web Browser using the Light Version (Windows/Mac) 1 Open your web browser and browse to the college Citrix website. 2 Enter your CSU eName and ePassword and log on. 3 If your browser supports it, you’ll have the option to “Use light version”, which doesn’t require the Citrix Workspace software. 4 If you aren’t prompted to choose and instead are taken straight to the Citrix StoreFront page, you can change to the light version by clicking your name at the top right and “Change Citrix Receiver”. 5 Launch Citrix by clicking on the available desktop icon.
How Do I Connect?
In the light version, the Citrix desktop is rendered within the browser. This is the recommended method for connecting. Note that printing is not available in the light version.
Is Citrix available on campus?
Citrix is accessible from on or off campus and is available to College of Health and Human Sciences’ students, faculty, and staff. Technology. Citrix (virtual desktop) Asset 140.

From a Windows Computer

From a Mac Computer
When connecting to a lab computer from a Mac you must run the Remote Desktop in Fullscreen. Minimizing the window or making it smaller will not resize the Windows Desktop.

What is the Cook County Health Portal?
The Cook County Health portal allows users with VPN access and valid network credentials to access specific software applications such as Siemens, Cerner, Cook County Health Intranet and more. Use the link below to login to the Cook County Health Portal.
Is VPN available in Cook County?
VPN. VPN Access is not available to all employees. VPN Access must be approved by your Cook County Health Department Chair but, the final decision rest with the Cook County Health IT Security department. Internet Explorer 7 or higher is supported. Although other browsers may be used, your experience may be different.
