How do I connect to UC Davis Kerberos?
“Library VPN” will now appear as an option in your Connections list. Select Connect to open the connection. When prompted, enter your UC Davis Kerberos (CAS) username and password, click Connect.
How do I connect to NDSU remotely?
Remote connections are only available to current students within each respective department. Your standard NDSU desktop login formatted as username@ndsu.edu and NDSU password will be needed to login to the computer remotely. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be utilized to further authenticate users.

You will be prompted to install the Citrix Client Plug-In, Click the Check Box to Download. At the File Download window select Open. Accept all the defaults during the installation process. How many seats are there in Academic Surge 1044?
With additional licensing and hardware, we are now able to offer 30 seats on a 24-hour basis, in addition to the seats reserved for class times in the labs. As before, all lab seats will be available remotely when the labs are not in session (after 8PM weekday evenings and weekends), but you will be able to use the labs anytime through this new program.

Why would I need to use the LS VPN?
Many departmental and LS network services, including network printers, file servers, and most office computers, are protected by firewalls. If you want to be able to access these resources from home, while traveling, or even from the campus Moobilenet wireless network, you will need to use the VPN.
Who is eligible to use the VPN?
Any LS employee (faculty and staff), LS IT customers, and LS graduate students are eligible to use the LS VPN. VPN access is granted automatically in most cases.
