What is remote access in Excellian?
Remote access to Excellian enables providers to log into Excellian from a location (e.g. home, office) outside of an Allina Health facility. When accessing Excellian from a remote location, providers will be able to do everything in Excellian that they would do if they were using Excellian at an Allina Health facility (i.e., chart, orders, etc).
What token do providers use?
In addition, providers use an RSA security token. This small device can fit on a key chain.

Yes. With remote access to Excellian, providers can review any patient record, including clinic, inpatient and emergency room visits.
Can you return a token to Allina Health?
If a token is defective, please return it to Allina Health so that it can be replaced free-of-charge under warranty. Instructions on the return process will be provided when you call the Allina Health Service Desk about replacing the token.
