Why is coverage in residency such bullshit?
Once again I'm asked to cover a weekend because someone wants to go to a wedding, and I already have plans. Chief is saying that my event can be done anytime (I want to go out with my friends from out of town) and that the wedding is not. I said she is already scheduled to work, I was not. They are unwilling to pull some other people due to studying for boards, trips, etc and figure I'm the path to least resistance. I'm just sick of this. Why can't people just work when they are supposed to. Or at least offer to pay me for my trouble. I feel like this never happens in any other job.
Can you log into CPRS remotely?
One does not simply log in remotely to CPRS... you must have a 2 hour conversation with tech support, at least five distinct user names and passwords, and a home card reader in order to do so. Only the strong are able to accomplish the feat a second time.
Is CPRS disabled?
It's disabled. Like most good things with CPRS they disabled it. The only thing you can do now is a remote PIV card reader.
