How many ports does a Dell KVM switch have?
The Dell KVM server console switches have eight (8) or sixteen (16) ARI ports for connecting to Server Interface Pods (SIPs) attached to servers. The Dell KVM SCS is compatible with the PS/2 SIP, the USB1.1 SIP, the USB2.0 with virtual media SIP and the USB 2.0 with virtual media and CAC support SIP.

The Dell KVM SCS can manage your data center using the built-in Dell Remote Console Software (RCS) or the On-Board Web Interface (OBWI) with the Remote Access Key option and is compatible with Avocent® DSView® 3 management software. OS patches and upgrades can be made from anywhere using virtual media.
