Privacy Act Information

The system contains Privacy information such as employee name and social security number and is subject to provisions of the Privacy Act. SSN is needed to uniquely identify individuals and is required by FPPS to pay USGS employees.

Accountability and Separation of Duties

Based on Government Accounting Office guidelines, Certifiers (usually Supervisors) are accountable and legally responsible for ensuring employees are reporting their timesheets accurately, not Timekeepers.

Quicktime Telework Codes

You will normally only need to use a code from Codes A-I on the list below when you telework. These codes are used for normal telework covered by the telework agreement and when there is unscheduled telework because of snow or other circumstances and the government is open to the public.

Quicktime Instructions

1. Log into Quicktime. Click on Sign In/Out. Enter your in and out work times, then click on the SAVE button. See example below- these are the times worked for Monday 1/10.
