We use Proseries with the software downloaded on our computers accessing our NAS at the office thru a VPN. Super easy to set up with a newer router.
Can you use a drake server from multiple locations?
We use drake from multiple locations with multiple preparers. Not sure if this is the best way to do it but we have the software installed on our server and then we connect to that server through a VPN tunnel from our other location. Once it’s setup, you don’t have to log in and out or open anything special, just open drake. I guess the only downside is it requires pretty good internet speeds, at least at the server location. I know drake has the cloud version but the majority shareholder is against having our data on there and the extra $.
