What time does the office of accomodative services open?
The Office of Accommodative Services is staffed either remotely or on site from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Services to students are being provided remotely via video conferencing, telephone or email. What are classroom accommodations?
Classroom and testing accommodations/academic adjustments such as enlarged print, assistance with lecture capture strategies, interpreter services, assisted listening devices, and assistance with arrangements to make audio recordings of classes, extended test time.

To ensure academic success in college, it's important that full-time and matriculated part-time students are placed into classes that are consistent with their current level of academic ability. This is why some students must take placement tests prior to registering for classes.

Scheduling Placement Tests
- Appointments are required for all testing. Please schedule an exam by clicking on the link under “Learn More” for the location which applies. Students must make their appointment at least two days prior to taking their test. If the exam must be taken within two days, please contact the Testing Center at dccproctor@sunydutchess.edu to find out if there is still availability.
