How do I apply for admission to EKU?
The first step toward beginning your education at EKU is to apply for admissions. Whether you’re a first-time freshman, transferring, pursuing graduate studies, or enrolling in a fully online program, you’ll find the information you need to get started here. The application can be completed online in less than 10 minutes.
What is a transfer student at EKU?
If you have earned 23 or fewer hours of college credit since high school graduation, or have earned (or are in progress of earning) 24 or more credit hours at another institution, you’ll be considered a transfer student at EKU.
What GPA do I need to get into EKU?
All students must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale: 2.5 or higher cumulative high school GPA (unweighted) for standard admission 2.00 - 2.49 cumulative high school GPA (unweighted) for Success First admission Send your final high school transcript after you’ve graduated Transfer your college credits to finish your degree at EKU!
VPN & Remote Desktop Connection (PC)
To connect to VPN, be sure you have an internet connection, your PC you want to connect to your campus PC, the name of your work computer (see step 1 below), be sure your work PC on-campus is left turned on when you leave work, and you have the Microsoft Authenticator app for two-factor authentication (2FA).

Visit https://sslvpn.eku.edu . You will see a PaloAlto Networks login screen. Use your EKU AD username (usually your last name and first initial) and email password to login on this screen.

Does EKU have virtual tutoring?
During the current campus closure the Center for Student Accessibility will still have tutoring available. Students registered with the CSA office may schedule virtual tutoring sessions. Due to an increase in service costs and security concerns, the RemoteApp Server that provides off-campus access to the applications listed below has been shut down. Applications can be accessed in campus labs as listed or can be purchased for your personal computer.
