Always remember to Log Out/Swipe Outwhen you are ready to step away from the workstation! This helps to maintain patient confidentiality. In addition, you do not want another user to do anything in Epic with your log on information.

When viewing the schedule in Epic, you will notice the ability to assign various colored dots to an appointment. These dots are used to communicate certain statuses to the RNs, physicians, and office staff.
