What is ETS desktop?

ETS provides and maintains remotely accessible virtualized desktop and applications.

What is engineering technology services?

Engineering Technology Services maintains a secure perimeter around the CoE Network to help keep you and your data safe. Remote access can be provided to internal and private CoE computer systems, servers, and storage via Pulse VPN.

What is the College of Engineering account?

The College of Engineering synchronizes all of its accounts with the University’s name.# account system, available at my.osu.edu. Your Engineering user account can be used to access: files, virtual & physical computing labs, printers, etc.

What is account lockout?

Account lockouts are a security feature to prevent unauthorized access to account resources. In the event of multiple failed login attempts an account will be temporarily disabled and ETS can help remedy this.

Why do you take the ETS field test?

By taking one of the ETS Major Field Tests, you enable your institution to get the data it needs to prove the effectiveness of your degree program — ensuring that you and future students earn the highest quality degree. Institutions use the Major Field Tests to measure students' mastery of their chosen field of study, assess the effectiveness of major programs of study, and improve curriculum and student learning outcomes.

Can you take ETS off campus?

If your program has identified you as a candidate to take the ETS ® Major Field Tests off-campus using a remote proctoring service, you will find important information here. Testing off-campus allows you to test remotely in your home or another convenient location with Internet access and a webcam.

Engineering Technical Services serves and partners with Faculty, Staff and Students across the Fulton Schools of Engineering. Core services include technology planning, support and implementation. ETS partners closely with each school’s dedicated IT team to help meet the unique needs of their school.
