Can I use my iPad as a remote access device?
Remote access using an iPad is going to be more complicated, and like Method 3 above, it will require that you set up Port Mapping on the main Apple router on your network. I don't use this much, but it has always worked fine when I've tested from remote locations. The document below will cover the basic setup. You will need to get with Stratospherix Support if you have questions about FileBrowser, since we don't handle support for that software on this forum.

Things are going to be mighty complicated if your provider has furnished you with a modem/router or gateway type of device......since it will be "main" router.....not an AirPort.
