Am about to create my first freenas (truenas core) box on a HP N54L. Currently migrating data off the gpt drives so I can add them as zfs drives once box is up.
How can I safely upgrade my pool size with my new drives? I had enough spare bays for all of them but two of the bays are dead
I have a 16 bay server with 8 in use with 4tb drives in Z2. I bought 8 8tb drives and was going to use the extra 8 bays and create and new pool and move my data over. I can't do that now since two of the bays are dead. I tried unplugging and cleaning out the connections and tried different drives but nothing happened.
