Using This Service
The HLS Remote Support client is pre-installed on HLS owned machines. If an HLS machine does not have this client please contact the ITS Service Desk for installation.

Redirecting: When a rule automatically redirects a message that you receive, the rule sends the message, unchanged, to the account specified by the rule. To the recipient, the message appears as though it came directly from the original sender. There is no indication that the message was delivered by way of your account. Files stored on a network drive can be accessed by connecting to VPN from your HLS laptop. If you are working from your personal laptop, you will need to install VPN and use the Virtual Desktop environment or VDI Clinics.

There are 2 main options for remote access to restricted computing resources at the school: Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Keep in mind, however, that many services such as OneDrive, SharePoint and FILR are available from any computer with an internet connection.
