Get Started

Download the extension and you will be able to gain direct access to content the library subscribes to as you're browsing the web. You'll also be able to connect quickly to Library Chat from Google Scholar and Wikipedia.

Things to Know

If you are off campus or using wireless access, you may be prompted to log in with your HarvardKey. Once you are logged in, the extension icon will alert you if the library provides access.

How to remotely access files on a computer?

To remotely access the files and applications on your office computer, network servers, or other network resources, you need to set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection for secure access from a remote location. For files on your office computer, you will also need to set up remote desktop access.

Can you forward calls to Harvard phone?

Answer calls and check your messages from anywhere. Harvard Phone. While you are out of the office, you can turn on call forwarding so that calls to your work phone will ring your cell phone, home phone, or any other alternate phone.

Can HMS staff request one time equipment?

HMS staff can now request one-time equipment and item retrieval, or access to an office or instructional space.
