Does HomeKit work on cellular data?
I can confirm that Home app on a cellular network works fine with the HA emulated hub if you have an iPad/Apple TV at home. Data is transmitted through iCloud.

Expected Behavior
Both remote and local access to my Wemo and Nest devices via Homebridge has worked just fine for a very long time.
Current Behavior
Recently, remote access to Homebridge devices started failing on a regular basis, while local access still works just fine. HomeKit native devices (iHome, Koogeek, Chamberlain) all continue to work fine, both locally and remotely.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
I can reproduce reliably as follows: Homebridge Wemo and Nest devices all responding (locally and remotely) fine with iPad as Homekit Hub. Turn off iPad and when the HomePod or AppleTV become the hub, remote access fails, while local access continues to work.

I am getting similar issues since adding a HomePod to my setup. Remote access used to work all the time but now the Homebridge connected devices show as 'not responding' outside of the house when using 4g/LTE. Other HomeKit devices such as my hue lights work fine.

Same here, all homebridge connected devices show as "not responding" even on the same WIFI after I added HomePod to my setup.

Another quirk that I have noticed is that the camera I have added to homebridge using homebridge-camera-ffmpeg continues to be visible remotely via 4g whilst all the other accessories show as 'not responding'.
Homekit App Mobile Data Usage
I am using a homebridge with the Hue plugin and Phoscon and no hub. So I can't control it anyways from outside my Wifi. For some reason the mobile data usage went up significantly. Sometimes it's more than one gig per month.

Tradfri Homebridge Blinds Issue
I have Tradfri brought into Homebridge/Homekit no problem, but the status of my blinds is reversed. Up is down, etc. Shows blinds as closed when they're open. Anyone know how to reverse these?
Voice Commands and Updating Status
Has anyone else been struggling with trying to use their iPhone to open the Home app and select a device to toggle on/off, but needing to wait for the status to come back? It is strange to me that while Home is updating the status, I can use a verbal command with Siri and it will toggle the device.

Solved: In the network menu of the TV, the "LG connect Apps" was not properly enabled. Had tried that at least 5 times but it seems I was not waiting long enough for the connection window to appear.

iSmartGate Cam
For any one who is after adding the iSmatgate camera to HomeKit. You can expose the camera through the camera ffmpeg plugin, the rtsp url is rtsp://usern:pwd@IP:554/videoMain. You need to turn on onvif authentication on the camera which can be done through the foscam VMS app, at least that was what I had to do.
