What is the Harvard research library?

A central catalog and open-access repository of research by members of the Harvard community. Harvard's open online repository for sharing, preserving, citing, exploring and analyzing research data. Partner sites from across the University also have information to help you with research data and publishing.

Where can I find data services at Harvard?

Many of Harvard’s professional schools offer specialized support for data services in certain disciplines. Harvard Library provides access to repositories of data from all disciplines. Search for existing datasets or explore through APIs and curated worksets.

What is the difference between HathiTrust Research Center and Harvard librarycloud?

Can I access Harvard Library online?

Unfortunately, unless you are affiliated with Harvard, they cannot be made available to you. Many public libraries now provide access to extensive online resources, and if there's a university library near you, they may allow visitor access.

Who has access to Harvard Library?

Domestic partners and spouses of Harvard faculty, staff and students are eligible for borrowing and access to Harvard's libraries. You will be asked to show a government-issued ID and a copy or picture of your partner's HUID.

Can the public use Harvard Library?
