How can I prepare sufficiently for the competency assessments?
As with all exams, you should ensure that you have adequate rest the day before.
Are the assessments difficult? What is the passing mark?
The papers are designed to have a combination of easy, medium and difficult questions. For test security purposes, IHRP does not disclose the passing mark. However, the typical passing rate per batch is around 70-80%.

How long does it take to become an IHRP?
The IHRP certification is a practitioner’s certification and a validation of your HR experience. As such, there is an experience requirement of at least 2 years at the role equivalent to the IHRP-CP and IHRP-SP level. You may want to give yourself more time to build up your HR experience if you are not yet ready.

The IHRP’s Code of Professional Conduct has been developed to reflect the standards of professional conduct and behaviours for all Certified Professionals.
