What can remote access do for me?

Even the iiNet Support Team uses Remote Access from time to time. Remote Access can help our customer service reps walk you through software and configuration issues such as setting up an iiNet mailbox in your email program, or adjusting the WiFi settings in your iiNet modem.

Is it possible to access remote access to a iiNet Bob2 router?

Remote accessto a IINET BOB2 router via the internet, is this possible? Yep. Log in to the modem via http://10.1.1.1 and then choose "Advanced Settings" from along the top menu. Before/during this, it's strongly recommended you change the modem's login password on the same page.

What is a 3 way chat?

3-Way Chat allows you to talk to 2 callers at the same time (a.k.a conference call).

How many call backs can you make at one time?

A maximum of 5 Call Backs can be arranged at any one time.

How to turn on call forwarding?

To turn on Call Forward Immediate for all incoming calls, dial *21 from your handset followed by the phone number you'd like all calls to be forwarded to, then dial # and hang up the phone.

How to add call forwarding to caller list?

Once Call Forward Select Caller is active, you can add numbers to your selected caller list by dialling *87 from your Home Phone and then following the voice prompts. You'll be asked to enter your PIN using the keypad.

How to remove a number from your caller list?

Similarly, you can remove a phone number from your selected caller list by dialling #87 from your Home Phone and following the voice prompts (requires PIN).

What happens if a call is not answered?

If a call to your phone number is not answered, Call Forward No Answer will forward the call to a different phone number.

What is call back?

Call Back. Call Back is a standard feature that does not need to be enabled or disabled. However, it requires a touch tone handset and is not compatible with certain numbers e.g. some business numbers, Operator Assisted Services, international destinations and some other carriers’ networks.

When did IiNet change landline?

Following changes made by our wholesaler, on Tuesday October 20th 2015 iiNet will be changing landline 13/1300 and selected voice feature rates.

Who do they apply to?

These changes apply to all of our standard landline services, both Home and Business, current and grandfathered, wherever the above calls/features are applicable.
