Special Collections Exhibits

Lauinger Library displays archives from the University’s Special Collections in four different galleries and exhibit areas. Exhibits are free and open to the public. Vist the Lauinger exhibits website for more information about current and past exhibits.

Using Lauinger Library

Our neighbors are welcome to read and study at Lauinger Library, browse the collections, and use guest computers. Visitors can earn borrowing priveleges from Lauinger, Blommer, Woodstock and Bioethics Libraries by becoming a member of the Library Associates.

What is a hold request at LIU?

Requests (holds): See items being sent from other LIU campuses and checked-out items that will be held for you when they are returned.

Do you include "@my.liu.edu" in your username?

Do not include the "@my.liu.edu" as part of your username.

Does Lean Library redirect to a proxy server?

Save your settings and start your research! When you're on a site that has a Library subscription, Lean Library will automatically redirect you through the Library proxy server for access to Library-subscribed articles, books, journals, and other content.

Does Georgetown University have a lean library?

When you visit a site where the Library has a subscription, Lean Library will pop up notifications where you might have access through the Georgetown University Library.
