Wireless Access

All members of the LSU Law Center community and LSU students can access the LSU wireless network in the Law Library, Law Center student lounge, and classrooms.

TigerWare

Many software packages such as Microsoft Office are available to students, faculty, and staff through LSU licensing arrangements. Most are available through TigerWare, the university’s software distribution website. TigerWare downloads are accessed using your myLSU account.

Online Backup Services

We strongly recommend that everyone use a cloud backup service. The Law Center does not provide backup services for personally owned computers. However, there are several affordable solutions including Carbonite and IDrive. Microsoft OneDrive is also a good option for cloud file storage.

What are the services of the Law Center?

Major services include hardware and software installation and maintenance, network, file, print and database services, PC-to-mainframe connectivity, email, LISTSERV, web services, as well as videoconferencing. Technical support is available to faculty, staff, and students of the Law Center. Have a support question?

What is the office of computing services?

The Office of Computing Services is responsible for the implementation and support of computing resources at the LSU Law Center. Located on the third floor of the main building (Room 317), the Computing Services Help Desk is the hub of Law Center technical support for students, faculty, and staff.

Does LSU have a law degree?

LSU Law provides its students with the option to earn two degrees, preparing students for a global practice. The Juris Doctor is earned by all students, and the Optional Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law Degree may be pursued following the first year of law school.
