How do I log in to my metro health account remotely?

How many food pantries are there in MFS?

MFS Project Linkage currently offers transportation for Project Linkage participants who need access to medical & nutrition services. Through our partnership with Ride Connection, we focus on transporting residents of North & NE Portland, west of 82nd Ave.

MFS will be closing on Friday, June 18th in observance of Juneteenth (June 19th) Juneteenth is considered the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. As we recognize this holiday we also honor the many contributions of African Americans that have greatly built, contributed to, and shaped our nation.

What are the services that low income families need?

Supports that are critically important to low-income, working families include access to transportation, medical insurance, child care, housing services and other services listed below.

What is the Division of Family Development?

In addition to child care issues, the Division of Family Development also ensures that working families and individuals get the supports and resources they need to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. This includes helping families who are transitioning from welfare to work.

What is DYFS in the Department of Children and Families?

NOTE: The Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), in the Department of Children and Families, has a similar Kinship Care program, which serves children who are under the supervision of DYFS.

What is kinship caregiver?

Kinship caregivers are special people who have taken on the responsibility of caring for their relatives' children - siblings, nieces, nephews, or, most often, grandchildren - providing them with a safe, reassuring environment. DFD offers a variety of support services and financial aid to kinship caregivers, who may be eligible for monthly payments through the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. The children under their care may be eligible for Medicaid health insurance.
