Earlier this year I had an outlet pop, and $500 worth of frozen food went bad.
Is anyone using a Xiaomi Aquara cube sensor as more than just a 3 way switch or 6 way scene changer?
I've got one for testing purposes and it seems like a relatively complex device. I've got it acting as a 6 way up/down brightness control but I'm not sure how practical this will be in real world use.
Smart whole home shutoff valve
Does anyone have recommendations for a smart (automatic) whole house water shutoff valve/system? A couple coworkers recommended the Flo by Moen. It will shut off your water either by sensing unusual water trends/usage or you can add water sensors throughout your house that will tell the unit to shut the water off fast. Any general consensus here?
