How can a professor emeritus get access to Nagoya University's Internet service?

A professor emeritus can get access to this service with Nagoya University ID from May, 2008. *The former ID (Dedicated ID for remote access) is expired March 31, 2009.

How do I contact the Nagoya University Center?

(Tel.:052-789-4354 e-mail:center@itc.nagoya-u.ac.jp). Those who have a Nagoya University ID may not log in if not eligible to use this service. (cf. 'Who is eligible to use this service?') The database I use regularly is not on the list. What should I do?

Members of Nagoya University consist of professors emeritus and current faculty and students. What is "Nagoya University ID"? Nagoya University ID is given to every member of Nagoya University and may be used as a lifelong ID.

How to get to Nagoya Dome-mae?

From Nagoya Sta.: Take the Subway Higashiyama Line to Sakae Sta. (5 min.), then transfer to the Subway Meijo Line to Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Sta. (12 min.), then walk 5 min. From Centrair (Central Japan International Airport): Take the Meitetsu Line (30 min.) or the airport bus (60 min.).

To Higashiyama Campus

From Nagoya Station: Take the Subway Higashiyama Line to Motoyama Sta. (15 minutes), then transfer to the Subway Meijo Line to Nagoya Daigaku Sta. (Higashiyama Campus is just off the subway exit.). From Centrair (Central Japan International Airport): Take the Meitetsu Line to Kanayama Sta.

To Tsurumai Campus

From Nagoya Sta.: Take the JR Chuo Line (bound for Tajimi) to Tsurumai Sta. (6 min.), then walk 5 min.

To Daiko Campus

From Nagoya Sta.: Take the Subway Higashiyama Line to Sakae Sta. (5 min.), then transfer to the Subway Meijo Line to Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Sta. (12 min.), then walk 5 min.

To Nagoya Station

From Centrair (Central Japan International Airport): Take the Meitetsu Line (30 min.) or the airport bus (60 min.). From Tokyo Station: Take the Shinkansen (103 min.). From Shin-Osaka Station: Take the Shinkansen (52 min.).

About E-book Service

Electronic books (e-books) are digital version of books. Subscribed e-books are available on campus.

Off-Campus Access

E-books with Icon, Nagoya University members can access them from off campus by remote access. It needs "Nagoya Univ. ID". Please see " Remote Access : Off Campus Web Services Start Page ".
