Can CUNY students enter Baruch library?

The library is open only to current CUNY students, faculty, staff, and retired faculty.

Can you eat in Baruch library?

Food and drinks are not allowed in the study rooms. If you bring them in, you will be asked to leave the room immediately, and may have future study room privileges suspended or revoked.

Can I bring a guest to Baruch library?

Visitors will be signed in by the Public Safety Officers after the visitor displays valid I.D. (i.e. driver's license). If the visitor does not display valid I.D., he/she will not be admitted to the building.

Can you study in library?

Most libraries have study carrels or quiet rooms where you can study with few distractions. Make sure you have the materials you need to begin your study session, and plan to take a few breaks.

Is there a cafeteria at Baruch?

As many of you have probably noticed, Baruch's cafeteria area has been under construction for half of the fall semester. It has recently been re-opened and revamped as Avenue C. I am here to give you the low down on everything you need to know about this new place to grab a quick bite on campus.

What is the Baruch guest pass?

Connect to the Baruch SSID with your Baruch username and password. Individuals who have an event scheduled and have requested a Guest Pass will be given a unique shared key that may distributed among attendees. This must be done well in advance and submitted through the Helpdesk.

Does Baruch allow visitors?

General Guest Policy All guests visiting a Baruch College building must be signed in to the visitor's log located in the lobby of each building. Visitors will be signed in by the Public Safety Officer only if the visitor displays valid Photo ID. (i.e. driver's license).

What is my Baruch username?

For faculty and staff the Baruch username is the first initial and last name; for students it is the first initial, a period, and then the last name (for me “mrichichi” or “m. richichi”). For faculty and staff this also provides access to your Baruch email account (firstname.lastname@baruch.cuny.edu).

Where can I print in Baruch?

Students can print to either the color or B&W print queue on any lab computer, and release their job at any printers in the Library, 6th floor ITB lab, or any of the BCTC labs in the Vertical Campus.

What time does Baruch campus close?

Hours of Operation Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Are Hunter College libraries open?
