PCLaw Remote Access requires installation of PCLaw Go Manager software, configuration of PCLaw, and the use of a browser with an internet connection. PCLaw | Time Matters™ supports the use of PCLaw accessed via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session conducted by Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection, the Microsoft app, which comes installed with Windows 10. You use Remote Desktop Connection to establish a remote session with another Windows computer, in this case, a computer running PCLaw.

Virtualization with PCLaw refers to a usage scenario where PCLaw is deployed in a virtual machine environment. Legal staff uses a remote desktop session to sign into a virtual machine and run PCLaw.
