Faculty and staff have several choices regarding their office phone or virtual phone options.

Software: General Productivity

There is a wide range of software that can be used to support faculty, staff, and students. A few of those software applications are featured below.

Software: Office

Faculty and staff PCs/laptops are pre-loaded with the following software: Adobe Reader, Cisco Jabber, Chrome, Firefox, and Office 365.

Software: Video Conferencing

Video conferencing may be used to host and participate in virtual meetings, conduct classes, etc. using audio and/or video. There are several video conferencing options available at PSU:

Behrend’s Innovation Commons is a collaboration space for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and students. Projects include a large-scale 3D scanner, which was designed and built by School of Engineering students.

Telecommuting Arrangements

To facilitate these arrangements, you and each employee need to sign the attached short-form telework agreement that waives the current University requirement of contacting the Workers' Compensation and Environmental Health Offices. You will also need to share with the employee the other two attached documents related to teleworking arrangements.

Zoom Meetings

For those who have never arranged a Zoom meeting, doing so is quite easy. Visit the zoom scheduling site, set the parameters for the meeting, click “Save,” then choose Outlook Calendar to i nvitee attendees.

Scan Documents to OneDrive

If you need to take a snapshot of a document or a whiteboard, OneDrive makes it easy. The Scan app works for iOS, IPadOS, or Android devices.
