Is there parking at Penn State Hershey Medical Center?

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Parking is free to patients and visitors. Our free shuttles make it easy to get around campus once you’re here. Valet Parking is available at the main entrance for patients and visitors for a nominal fee per vehicle. If you're having an emergency, please dial 911.

What is the emergency department called at Hershey Medical Center?

The Emergency Department (ED) at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is central Pennsylvania’s only Level I Trauma Center for both children and adults. We specialize in the assessment and treatment of trauma, stroke, heart and vascular, pediatric and neurosurgery patients.

What happens if I need to go to Hershey Medical Center?

Your illness or injury may require admission to Hershey Medical Center. A staff member will transport you to an available bed. If your condition requires treatment that is not available at Hershey Medical Center, you will be transferred to an appropriate health care facility. What happens when I am discharged?

Wireless Connection

ATTWIFI public wifi is available in the library as well as all patient rooms and visitor areas in the hospital and Cancer Institute. Once selected, open your browser and sign in for free access. AT&T will provide 24x7 technical support for this wireless network.

What is Outlook Web App?

The Outlook Web App allows you to view your email on a secure web page through any web browser. The interface is nearly identical to that of Microsoft Outlook.

Does Penn State have Outlook?

All Athletics-issued laptops have Microsoft Office installed on them. Opening Outlook for the first time will prompt you for your Penn State credentials. Successfully logging in will automatically set up your Penn State email. Athletics IT will help you configure your email during your first week of employment.

My Penn State Health is a secure website where you can schedule appointments, email your health care provider, check test results, refill prescriptions and pay your bill.

Is Penn State Health allowing family support?

Penn State Health is committed to the safety of patients, staff, visitors and the general public. We are currently only permitting family/support persons to accompany patients within our facilities. One family/support person is permitted per adult inpatient visit per day. Two parents/guardians are permitted per pediatric inpatient visit per day. Per the visitation restriction policy, no visitors, aside from patient-designated family/support persons, are allowed at this time. View additional visitation information.
