How do I connect to Plex from a docker container?

I run my Plex instance in a Docker container, and there are two ways currently set up to access it: directly hitting the server with Docker Bridge networking on port 32400 going through Traefik using an internal host name and https on port 443

Why is Plex remote access not working on my router?

NAT/UPnP Compatibility: Either NAT or UPnP (depending on your router model) need to be enabled in order for port forwarding to work properly. If these are not enabled or have different configurations set than required, Plex Remote Access will not work.

Why isn’t the port I want Plex to use automatically?

If the port isn’t being forwarded automatically, we have no option other than manually forwarding the port which Plex will use. Usually, the need for manual port forwarding arises when uPnP or NAT-PMP is not enabled on your router.

What is the first port of call for Plex server?

As I was able to see in the Plex dashboard that the server considered playback as being from a remote client, the first port of call was to address the bandwidth settings in the Plex Server settings. This is noted as recommended in the Plex Docker image documentation, but I had missed this.

Can't for the life of me figure out why my Dockered Plex is having such difficulty having port 32400 made open to the open internet. It doesn't appear i am double NAT-ed. I ran the test suggested by Plex to see and found out my WAN address as reported on my router matched the one on whatsmyip.host. Is there an additional port i must forward.

Zonediver

Check the port forwarding on your router again - port 32400 is all you need.

Thanks for your response Zonediver. I included a screenshot of my port forwarding configuration. Looks right, no? Shows 32400 going to 32400. The 192.168.1.100 is the IP of my Unraid box.
