Why can’t I enable remote access on my Plex server?
If a particular runway (port) is closed, it can’t accept any incoming traffic. If you want to enable remote access on Plex, a specific port needs to be opened on your router to allow the traffic to flow correctly. Most people will not run into issues trying to enable Remote Access with their Plex Media Server.

Edit: I solved it by turning on UPnP...... but it now cuts out after 30 second to 1 min unless i am watching a video then it seems to last longer... is there a time out thing i need to disable and how?

I at one time had the same issue. Found multiple instances on other forums that stated it was a bug. Even when it was red, it still worked.

By chance, do you have geolocation filtering on? If so, allow Ireland through. Plex remote/proxy servers are located there and for whatever reason it needs to be able to communicate with them.

Just following up on this thread. Were you able to get your issue sorted out? Turn off GEOIP FILTERING and see if the problem persisits. I had similar issues even though I was allowing US and Irelend.
What is a Plex service?
Its a free service that can monitor stuff, ping, tcp ports, etc. And will send you alert if goes down. This way I know if my plex goes offline, and can fix before my friends and family start asking me why plex isn't working ;)

Do I need an account to use plex?
Yeah you need an account - but they have a free tier that allows quite a few checks - its just some limitations on how many ips can check you, and from where - and how often you can check etc. I just use the free service and have multiple things being checked not just plex. edit: Here are my current tests.

Tried changing it around nothing worked i went from 32400 to 34444 and 40444. I think i set it up right on router side.

What is IP 10.0.0.4? Your unRAID-Server? Protocol you need is TCP - you dont need UDP.
