Click on the Remote Settings in the System Control Panel. Make sure Remote Desktop is allowed. Leave the computer powered on. You do not have to stay logged into the computer to connect remotely. ASU allows remote users to connect securely to the ASU network and get to resources that are usually only available from on campus.

Network Drives
P Drive - Students, faculty, and staff have access to personal storage space on the P drive of the ASU network (student space is limited to 500 MB). This data is backed up nightly. Even if you are using an external disk, we highly recommend that you save a backup copy of your information to the network drive as well.
Accessing your drives
On-campus - Users can access their P and J drives from lab or office computers by double-clicking the appropriate drive icon on their Desktop or in My Computer (Windows) or by clicking the appropriate drive name in their Finder Favorites (Mac).

If you experience difficulties, call your ISP. If you are near another higher education institution, they may have ‘eduroam’ Wi-Fi. If they do, you can connect to their ‘eduroam’ Wi-Fi using your O-Key account. View the eduroam Wi-Fi map. Make sure you observe local emergency declarations like shelter in place, before leaving your residence.
Do OSU members get an email notification?
Be cautious of emails received while working from home. Confirm that messages from OSU members do NOT contain the "External Email" notification. The "External Email" notification will never appear on emails from OSU members. Also be wary of clicking any links contained in unsolicited emails.
