Located in Brooklyn, NY
Brookdale, now one of the largest nonprofit voluntary teaching hospitals in Brooklyn, began as one small building rising amidst the vacant fields and scattered farms where the towns of Brownsville, East New York and Canarsie come together.
The Emergency Medicine Residency
As a teaching hospital, the core faculty and attending physicians at Brookdale are dedicated to training new doctors. We are a three-year ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program in a NYS Trauma, Stroke and STEMI Center located in Brooklyn, NY.
Electronic Medical Records
Epic is the EMR software utilized throughout the hospital and in all of our outpatient ambulatory clinics. This enables patient care to continue beyond the ED and supports your training wherever you may be. It allows filmless radiology and uniquely allows physicians outside the Brookdale ED remote access.
