Chrome OS performance

Has anyone recently noticed that the performance of Chrome OS has overall decline or degraded? I know that Chrome OS 91 caused a lot of lag and slowness but even before that, the operating system just hasn't felt as fast or as smooth. For me at least I've had a lot of slowdowns, freezing up, bugs, glitches, etc.
