The remote path mapping will need to be set so Sonarr can find your data. Go to Settings > Download Client > Remote Path Settings and click the + symbol Now you need to add your host section this is the URL without the https:// part for example nl4350.dediseedbox.com this can be found in the README.txt at /Apps/Sonarr/README.txt

Why can't I connect to SoNaRR from my computer?

Also check the firewall, make sure the port is opened for the correct firewall profile, Sonarr only tries to open it for Private connections, not Domain or Public. So I figured it out. I was attempting to access Sonarr from my computer at work. When I attempted to connect from anther internet connection, it worked.

What port does SoNaRR run on?

Sonarr is running on port 9001, I can access it using localhost:9001 from the local computer just fine. I’ve set my router to forward port 9001. I ran the open port check tool here www.canyouseeme.org/.

Is it possible to access CouchPotato remotely from SoNaRR?

I tried changing the bind address in Sonarr from * to 192.168.1.100 (the local computer’s static ip), but no dice. Couchpotato is accessible remotely from port 5050, but I also cannot access Sabnzbd on port 8085.

Is it possible to open SoNaRR from a static IP?

In most home networks this isn’t an issue because you won’t have devices coming/leaving your network. For purposes of this guide, setting a static IP would work just fine. After installing Sonarr, it should open from http://localhost:8989. But, it can also be opened by using the IP address and port number.

Do you need to install mono to sonarr?

For Sonarr to function optimally it may be necessary to configure those repositories. Add the Mono repository. You do not need to install mono itself, it'll be done automatically later.

Does Sonarr v3 have access to home directory?

Sonarr v3 runs under the Local Service account, and will not have access to user's home directories. This may lead to unexpected behavior when you're using a download client thats configured to download to your home directory. If this applies to you, please install Sonarr to run as system tray application instead.

Is Sonarr a Windows service?

Introduction. Sonarr is supported natively on Windows. Sonarr can be installed on Windows as Windows Service or system tray application. Sonarr can be installed as system tray application or Windows Service. A system tray application is started after the user logs in and is visible as an icon on the taskbar system tray.

Introduction

You have installed sonarr3 and/or radarr via 1-click installable apps, and you would like to use the Google or Dropbox drive (or a crypt drive that is based on such drives) to those apps too, so you can access your existing cloud media! This is now doable! Just create a remote mount point via your seedbucket and once the process is finished, the mount becomes available!.

Sonarr3

Once you finish the sonarr3 installation via your client area, visit the app via the link "Go to application" (which is essentially https://USERNAME-sonarr3.cloud.seedboxes.cc/ ) . After logging in with your seedbox credentials, click the Import Existing Series button at the viewscreen.

Radarr

Once you finish the radarr installation via your client area, visit the app via the link "Go to application" (which is essentially https://USERNAME-radarr.cloud.seedboxes.cc/ ) . After logging in with your seedbox credentials, click the Import Existing Movies button at the viewscreen.

How to reconcile TVDB vs release naming conventions

Great example of this issue recently, there is a show called Never Mind the Buzzcocks. It was on TV in the UK for 28 seasons, but now has moved to a new channel.

Best practice to upgrade library to 1080p

Hi all - looking for some best practice suggestions to upgrade my content to 1080p.

Help with Sonarr on Synology NAS

EDIT: Next issue is access denied and importing. Downloads are going into the "SAB Temp Download" folder. In order to get an episode to import into Sonarr I have to go into permissions for the folder and tell it to "Apply to this folder, sub-folders, and files" then Sonarr will pick it up. Otherwise I get an "access denied" error. Any ideas?

I've been tinkering with this for a year and I think the answer is no, but here it is anyway.

Should I be going back and un-monitoring episodes that have met the cutoff? Only concern is bandwidth and processing power for Searching 1000's of episodes..

Like most of you I have a huge library on Sonarr. I've had it long enough that I think I've nailed my Quality Profiles and Quality Definitions. And I've met the cutoff for just about every series (except for older ones where I'm keeping my fingers crossed someone might upload a higher quality version some day).

Common problem with NAS and OSX (mac) server

I have a synology NAS and use my Mac Mini to download using sonar (and radar). The problem is that I have sonar move files directly to my NAS, but it seems that the connection to the NAS gets dropped regularly (a flaw with Mac IIRC). I have an app that auto mounts it, so it only disconnects temporarily.

Downgrading files

I have recently been moving my installation of various apps on my Synology NAS from the Package Center to Docker (mainly because some apps aren't supported by the latest version of DSM).

Windows

Extract the zip file into your target directory. Use a folder that Sonarr process would have write access to ( DO NOT use C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86))

Linux

A modern version of Mono is required, use their instructions and repositories to install it.

Docker

Running Sonarr in a Docker container eases setup and reduces package installation on the host OS. Docker is available on many platforms, see the Docker overview page and install Docker before setting up a Sonarr container under Docker.

Other References

There are several toolkits maintained that automate the process of installing multiple applications. For obvious reasons these do not come with any warranty or endorsement from the Sonarr team.
