Thinking about running ethernet cable through attic

Want to run ethernet from router to xbox on other side of house through my attic and i’ve got a couple questions. Do i need to make ethernet jacks for this? I was envisioning just getting long 150 ft ethernet cord with plugs already attached, plugging one end into the router and the other end into my xbox using just gang cable wall plates.

I've got a TP-Link AX20V2 router ( this one) which is connected to my desktop via Gigabit LAN and to my laptop (AX201 2x2) over the 5GHz network on a 80MHz channel that I've manually set after checking interference. Everything is on my desk, less than 2ft apart.
