Getting Started
Splashtop will automatically deploy on Syncro Assets and requires no initial configuration to be installed on devices. There are some options at the Policy level that you should start with. Head to the Policy tab and select to edit a Policy. Once on the Policy edit screen, scroll down to the Remote Access Section.
Policy Settings
Allow Technicians Remote Access To Assets On This Policy - Enables the Splashtop Remote Tool on devices in the Policy. Will deploy and install Splashtop on the devices in the policy when enabled.
Security Permissions
There are some specific Security Permissions that you need to consider to allow techs to be able to use the Remote Access tooling. Head to Admin > Security Groups > Edit a Security Group.
Starting a Remote Access Session
To start a Remote Session head to an Asset Detail page or use the Asset Quick Access and click the Remote Access button.
Splashtop Remote Access Viewer Application
If the computer has not started a Splashtop Remote Session before, you will be prompted with a pop-up asking you to download a Splashtop Viewer application. You can choose between a Windows version and a Mac Version. This download only needs to happen once on the machine to allow Splashtop to function from the device.
Using Splashtop
When you start a Remote Session, Splashtop will open in a separate window outside of your browser.
End-User Remote Access
You can enable a setting at the Customer & Contact level to allow your end-user clients to access Assets through the Customer Portal.
Remote Control in Syncro RMM & PSA
Splashtop unattended remote access is bundled within the Syncro platform, enabling technicians to securely access and control managed devices from anywhere as well as resell remote access to end-users.
On-Demand Remote Support to Additional Computers and Mobile Devices
Syncro users can also purchase Splashtop SOS to provide ad-hoc remote support to computers and mobile devices not managed under Syncro.

Scripting
Scripting is a powerful tool in Syncro.
Accessing Syncro Live
To access Syncro Live, open up any Syncro Device in your assets and RMM list and then click the Backgrounding Tools button. You may optionally click the down arrow and click one of the dropdown options to head straight to that function.
Task manager
Upon opening up Syncro Live, you will be presented with the task manager screen. Here, you can view which processes are running, along with the current CPU and RAM usage. Also, you can stop currently running processes, and even start your own!
Service Manager
The Service Manager allows you to view a list of all services currently on the asset. You are given the option to start, stop, and restart the services. The Service Manager also lets you search for a service by name and sort the list of services alphabetically, by status, startup type, and logon.
Event Viewer
The Event Viewer allows you to easily view all of the most commonly used functionality of the Windows Event Viewer right in Syncro.
System Information
By clicking the "System Information" tab on the left-hand side of Syncro Live, you can view everything you need to know about the device's specifications. You can view the current OS, motherboard, CPU, Network configuration, GPUs, and more!
File System
The File System section allows you to view the device's folders and their contents. You can also search for files and folders, along with transferring a file into a certain location on the device.
Registry Editor
The registry editor allows you to fully explore your registry notes similar to how you can with Windows registry editor.
