Tired of the 2022 "Vendor Lock" White List fear mongering and drama, when NOBODY has actually contacted Synology for a comment or said they refused to comment. So I sent my own request for comment. If the DS1821+ has no White List, and they respond the DS1522+ won't have a White List, then EVERYTHING else will be fine, no reason to panic.
